Guided Exposure is excited to introduce one of the first women led splitboard mountaineering course. This co branded course with Weston Backcountry is led by Guide Team Members Kiira Antenucci & Sarah MacGregor.

The 4 day course will take place on one of Mount Bakers beautiful glaciers or nearby in the North Cascades National Park. Over 3 nights and 4 days we will introduce, practice, and apply the skills necessary for climbing Cascadian Volcanoes and peaks abroad. Each day we will takes runs around the glaciers while allowing participants the opportunity to get out front and lead the group. Under the supervision of our experienced guides, Kiira Antenucci or Sarah MacGregor, you can receive direct feedback and immediately apply the feedback resulting in skill development. 

This course culminates with a summit of Mount Baker.

Best For

  • Strong Intermediate or higher ski and skinning ability
  • Ability to ski or ride with a backpack
  • Moderate or above fitness (ascend 4,700 vertical feet over 4 miles in a day)
  • Ascend a total of 7,200' of vertical over 12 miles round trip
  • Fitness for 4 days in the mountains
