Greenland Ski Touring
A once-in-a-lifetime Arctic ski expedition in East Greenland — ski from summit to sea among icebergs and tidewater glaciers, based out of the Inuit village of Kulusuk.
East Greenland is one of the last truly wild ski destinations on earth. From the tiny Inuit village of Kulusuk, we ski untracked peaks that drop straight to iceberg-filled fjords, travel past tidewater glaciers, and experience a culture and landscape few skiers ever see — dog sleds, Arctic light, and the raw edge of the ice cap.
This is an expedition as much as a ski trip: remote, committing, and unforgettable.
The trip
Guided Arctic Ski Expedition
A guided ski-touring expedition in the Kulusuk region of East Greenland — summit-to-sea descents, glacier travel, and deep cultural immersion, with all expedition logistics handled.
The experience
We base in and around Kulusuk and Tasiilaq on Greenland's east coast. Days are spent skinning up untouched peaks and riding long lines toward the sea, weaving among icebergs and glaciers. Off the snow, you'll experience Inuit village life, dog sleds, and the vast silence of the Arctic — a trip that's as much about the place as the skiing.

Greenland skiing FAQ
When can you ski in East Greenland?
The ski season is a short spring window, roughly April into May, once daylight returns and the snowpack stabilizes. This is also when the Arctic light is spectacular and the days grow very long.
How hard is the Greenland ski trip?
It's best for intermediate to advanced backcountry skiers and splitboarders with prior touring experience and solid fitness. It's a remote expedition, so comfort in variable snow, efficient travel, and a flexible, adventurous mindset matter as much as technical skiing.
How do you get to East Greenland?
Travel is typically via Iceland — fly to Reykjavík, then on to Kulusuk in East Greenland, where the trip is based. We send detailed travel logistics after you book.
What makes the Greenland trip special?
It combines world-class, genuinely untracked summit-to-sea skiing with deep cultural and wilderness immersion — iceberg-filled fjords, tidewater glaciers, dog sleds, and Inuit village life. Very few skiers ever experience it.
Is there a waitlist?
This trip is small and in high demand. If dates are full, you can join the waitlist on the trip page and we'll be in touch as spots open or new dates are added.
