North Ridge: Mount Baker 3 Day

The North Ridge is one of the North Cascades classic moderate alpine climbs. Ascending from camp across the Coleman and Roosevelt Glaciers we reach the toe of the North Ridge and climb moderate to steep snow on our way to the upper headwall. Here we climb several ice pitches. After this more steep snow ascends towards the summit plateau. 

Group size and rate is based upon 2 guests.

Itinerary

Day 1- Gear check, hike into camp, introduce & rehearse multipitch ice climbing techniques on the seracs of the lower Coleman Glacier

Day 2- Climb the North Ridge and descend the Coleman-Deming back to camp, or weather day ( continue multi pitch ice climbing skills)

Day 3- Hike out to trailhead, or climb North Ridge if weather was poor on day 2.
