North Twin Sister delivers one of a kind North Cascades experience—dramatic terrain rising straight out of the foothills and staring straight at Mount Baker, sweeping views over the Puget Sound and Salish Sea, and true wilderness.

Itinerary

North Twin Sister Guided Climb

Day 1 – Approach & Camp Setup

  • Meet at the rural crossroads village of Welcome, Washington

  • Coffee and treats at the Welcome Store

  • Gear check and approach to base camp

  • Instruction on campsite selection, tent setup, and camp fundamentals

Day 2 – Summit Day

  • Climb the West Ridge alpine terrain with a summit attempt of North Twin Sister

  • Descend and either hike out or enjoy another night under the stars

Day 3 – Skills & Exit

  • Optional morning climbing or skills practice

  • Break down camp and hike back to the trailhead

  • Celebrate with pizza and beverages at North Fork Brewery
