Family climbing days are commonly based in Northwest Washington, including areas near the quiet and scenic Mount Baker, easy to access Snoqualmie Pass and North Bend, the dry sage steppe climate in Vantage, or the Puget Sound cooled Anacortes. The final location is chosen based on your family’s goals, weather, conditions, and the best fit for the day.

Your day includes professional guiding, route selection, safety instruction, top-rope climbing systems, belay coaching, knot practice, and a customized progression for your group. The goal is to create a safe, approachable, and memorable outdoor climbing day for the whole family. Additional group equipment includes ropes and carabiners. Harnesses and helmets are available to rent.

Bring comfortable outdoor clothing, rock climbing shoes, approach shoes or sturdy footwear, water, snacks or lunch, sun protection, and layers for changing weather. Your guide will help coordinate technical climbing equipment and let you know what personal items are needed before the trip.
