Hokkaido Ski Adventure 2027: Your Ultimate Winter Experience
Duration: 7 Days, 6 Nights
Destination: Hokkaido
What are you waiting for?! Join a once-in-a-lifetime backcountry ski adventure in Hokkaido, Japan, in winter 2027. After several successful seasons of ski guiding and avalanche forecasting in Furano, Hokkaido Japan, we are excited to return with small groups of four to six people for week-long ski trips. These one of a kind Hokkaido ski trip packages will explore the best snow in the best places, off the beaten path led by IFMGA/AMGA Ski & Splitboard Guides. Whether it's lift-served backcountry at Furano Prince, ski and splitboard touring at Tokachidake, or ski mountaineering on Asahidake, this is an opportunity you don't want to miss.
Premium Accommodations in Furano Japan
Our beautiful accommodations in the Furano base village of Kitanomine are centrally located, just a 5-minute drive or 10-minute downhill walk from the lifts and gondola, and a 5-minute drive to Furano-shi. From here, we'll ski at the local ski area in Furano and other zones within an hour's drive, including Asahidake in the Daisetsuzan Range and the Hidaka and Yubari Ranges. Enjoy dinners at nearby restaurants, shop at the amazing food co-op, and relax in the onsen surrounding the town.
Unique 2027 Offering: Overnight Ski Traverse
Experience our carefully crafted overnight ski traverse, a unique offering for 2027. This overnight trip takes you from ski village to ski village, staying in traditional Japanese Ryokans. Carry only a day pack, a change of clothes, and lunch—no tents or sleeping bags required. This is sure to be a highlight of your Hokkaido ski trip. This adventure is weather, conditions, and ability dependent.
Small Group Size for a Personalized Experience
We maintain a lower ratio of guests to ski guide with group sizes limited to four people plus a ski guide. This is how to ski Hokkaido. Lodging is based on double occupancy and includes all nights of the trip, from the night before we start to the night the trip ends, allowing time to relax before and after without the hassle of shuffling luggage and gear.
