Women’s Avalanche Leadership Course | Backcountry Ski & Splitboard Mentorship

Step into a leadership role with our Women’s Avalanche Leadership and Mentorship Program. This one-day guided backcountry ski and splitboard tour empowers participants to take the lead in planning, decision-making, and executing their own backcountry objectives. Supported by experienced female avalanche mentors, you’ll apply avalanche safety, route-finding, and group management skills in real terrain while building confidence in your leadership.

Two nights prior to the tour, you’ll join a live Zoom meeting to review avalanche conditions, refine your tour plan, and develop group strategies. On tour day, your team will put those plans into action — safely seeking powder stashes, dream lines, and rewarding descents while receiving feedback from mentors in real time.
