Forbidden Peak is one of the North Cascades classic moderate alpine climbs. Ascending from camp across the Pocket Glacier we reach the toe of the Cat Scratch Gullies and climb moderate rock or snow on our way to the West Ridge proper. Here we climb pitch after pitch of classic ridge climbing up the Gendarme and to the summit. From here we reverse the route and down climb and rappel back to the pocket glacier then back to camp.

We offer 3 options for climbs with in Boston Basin. Our 3 day climbs are focused primarily on ascending the West Ridge of Forbidden. The 4 day Adventure includes additional climbs on Shark Fin Tower, Aguile D'Is, Sahale, or the North Ridge of Forbidden. The 5 Day Adventure offers a combination of climbs including Shark Fin, West Ridge, Torment, or Sahale.

Client to Guide Ratios are 2:1 with 6 spaces available. Prices are for 2 people minimum.
