During this Alaska ski week we will be based in Valdez Alaska. Here we will seek out quality descents near Thompson Pass. At this iconic spot we will tour and climb abundant steep terrain or cruiser glacier runs.

Along the Thompson Pass Corridor iconic descents such as the Python, Berlin Wall, Acupulco, and couloir bashing in the Stairway line the scenic Richardson Highway. From riding steep ramps and couloirs to cruisier glacier runs on the Worthington this ski mountaineering gem has something for everyone. When conditions allow Heli bumps can be added to assist a day of ski touring. When the weather and visibility roll in we find the best terrain in otherwise no Heli flight conditions.

Our accommodations are based at the scenic Harbor Inn in Valdez where a hearty breakfast is provided everyday. Based on double occupancy the comfortable rooms provide space to relax, recover, and refuel for the next days adventure.

We will plan to arrive in Anchorage in the morning of March 19th then drive the scenic highway to Valdez. If you choose to you can fly directly into Valdez, weather dependent. In Valdez we will stay in town for 8 nights, this way we bookend our skiing days with out travel.
