Mount Shuksan Fisher Chimneys

Come climb the classic Fisher Chimneys route on Mount Shuksan! During this 3 or 4 day trip we will spend 2-3 nights on the mountain to provide quality time and pace on the gem of the North Cascades. 

Since our trip meets in the beautiful village of Glacier Washington we minimize travel time and maximize our time on Mount Shuksan.

This itinerary allows for a weather delay day or the option to climb another nearby route such as the North Face or the NW Arete.

 Climbs are at a 2:1 guest to guide ratio. 

Itinerary

Day 1: Meet in Glacier, Gear Check, Hike into camp at Lake Anne or continue up the Fisher Chimneys to camp on the White Salmon Glacier.

Day 2: Climb the Fisher Chimneys to camp on the White Salmon Glacier, camp to summit and back

Day 3: Climb another nearby route and back to camp or descend the chimneys to Lake Anne to climb another nearby route

Day 4: Descend the chimneys or hike out to trailhead

Best for

• Strong fitness for 4 day days of climbing
• Ability to scramble 3rd and 4th class up to 5.0 YDS with a multi day backpack
• Prior experience with crampons, ice axes and knots and hitches

Cancellation Policy

Domestic trips and courses cancelled more than 21 days before the start date will be refunded minus 3% and $75 processing fee. Cancellations 20 days or less in advance of the start date will be given a Guided Exposure Credit, minus a $75 processing fee. Cancelling a trip or course in 13 days or less of the start date will not be refunded. International trips have a 90 day cancellation policy.
