This 3 day Mount Baker summit climb travels up either the Easton/Squak Glacier up the South side of the mountain or the Coleman-Deming Route up the West side of the mountain. Participants will gain experience with ice axe and crampons, roped glacier travel, self arrest, and when time permits crevasse rescue.

Ascend one of the classic glacier routes on the iconic volcano Kushan (Mount Baker). Over 3 days we will ascend via the Coleman Deming, Squak, or Easton Glacier Routes to the 10,781' summit. Traveling over complex glaciers is moderately strenuous and beautiful with good views stretching out over the North Cascades and out to the Puget Sound. The steaming Sherman crater gives us a glimpse into this active volcanic vent. Enjoy alpine sunrises and sunsets at the toe of the glacier. Join us this summer for a great climb!

With the goal of climbing Mount Baker to the summit each participant will recieve a Mountaineering School Course. This means the learning outcomes match the objective and skills taught.

Maximum group size is limited to 4 people
